Viewing dev posts for topic: fashion-coupon-store-update-phase-1
Closing this thread now as the changes we wanted to make are complete. We will open up the conversation for further updates to the store when we time permits us to continue working on it. Please watch future patch notes for any additions/removals/changes that may occur.
It's part of a change coming at a later time, so they will not be returning to the FC Store.
*Fixed* what about Kaia's helmet or her * cape?
For all suggestions, pictures aren't quite as helpful to me, and I do actually need an in-game name or item ID for all suggestions. Thx.

would it be possible to re add the original valkyrie "black label curaiss" design? the same costume was changed to a different appearance like a few weeks into the valkyrie's release. The original valkyrie "black label curaiss" looked was similar to the "crimson/azure valkyrie finery" variants except it was grey

I'll try to test if This matches your image, otherwise I'd need more details about the original costume "style" that was used.
Do you think it would be possible to add the Thetan Willsuit (gunner)
If this is it, then sure. I can get it added.

Wanted to check how is the progress on the weapon skins now that the playerbase is helping find the IDs of the weapons
There is a pretty massive list compiled. It will take some time to review though, to see what can be added in through Phase 2, or will require requests be made in order to get them.
At this time, I think we're going the route of keeping as many earned items exclusive as possible, with the only real exceptions being items that had already been in the Fashion Coupon store previously, like all of the "made exclusively for you by Meruma" types, and some of the costumes offered when a new class was released.
As we get ready for additional Phases, i'll try my best to ensure the above stays true, and will probably rely on our Player Council to help prevent me from adding anything that should remain exclusive, due to how it was previously obtained through in-game methods.
With that said, I definitely understand the frustration from those who participated and earned the above mention items when they were first introduced.
I sent a similar long list (with items in the same range), but most of them fell into the categories in the OP (EU-exclusive, Skycastle-exclusive, temporary, etc.). I hope they can find a way to get appropriate versions from BHS so we can have them as regular usable skins in our region.

Don't think I forgot about these.
They were kept within my document, even if it takes a request to get them. =)

This is good, but can you add a second Spoiler with a copy / paste text form ?
I'm transferring them into my own document, and just an image with names and ID's will slow things down.

roughly how many phases you think is gonna take for us to have a complete Fashion Coupon store? Also, i am still wondering why Gunner, Reaper, Brawler and Valkyrie, cannot use the other armors like the other classes.
I tried to touch on that with this portion :
many rejected items still have templated styles associated with them, which don’t function properly in our environment. For these items, we may be able to turn those styles into weapon skins or costumes in the future, with the new items being exclusive to our NA servers.
Some of the styles ( such as the 1-60 leveling Armor / Weapons ) could be a bit faster to add in the next Phase, depending on whether or not we get them in versions that are exclusive to our NA servers, while other styles might take longer and require a new request be made to Bluehole, to convert styles on items into costumes / weapon skins.

Please keep in mind that I am open to additional suggestions for things that are "missing", so if any players feel like providing lists similar to what was seen in previous Forum Threads, I'll be happy to review it, adding either a submitted list of names or item ID's to my already compiled list, removing any duplicates as I go.

As for your other question, I believe that might also comes down to a request to Bluehole to add Reapers, Gunners, Brawlers, Ninjas, and Valkyries to those existing Armor / Weapons.
Tonight, we're rolling out Phase 1 of our Fashion Coupon store update.

I've attached a full list of added items below, but in the interest of transparency first I want to provide some information about the process.

Many players might be under the impression that adding hundreds of “missing” items to the Fashion Coupon store is just a matter of copying over a list of items available in other regions, but this is not the case.

Our initial comparison list included suggestions from players in the Forums, our Player Council, as well as an examination of the entire item datebase for all regions.

The process resulted in some potential new items, but also eliminated many others from consideration.

Here’s some of our reasons:

- Suggested items were meant for Skycastle merchants, which expire when a character logs out or leaves the Skycastle.
- Suggested items had in-game requirements, such as clearing all the floors of Dreadspire.
- Suggested items had a large gold sale value.
- Suggested items were exclusive to another region.
- Suggested items were not costumes or weapon skins, but instead actual gear or weapons.

When it comes to items exclusive to another region, we have no control over that item’s appearance or availability.
Even if we could offer it in our region, if the item was changed in any way in that other region, our offering would also change, or perhaps be removed from the game entirely.

Further, many rejected items still have templated styles associated with them, which don’t function properly in our environment. For these items, we may be able to turn those styles into weapon skins or costumes in the future, with the new items being exclusive to our NA servers.

With that said, we'll continue to evaluate items for the Fashion Coupon store, and add them as appropriate.
