Unfortunately darling, that's the result of a lack of moderation within global and the playerbase as a whole. Stricter EME staff and rules = less toxicity. They care more about those sweet muns though rather than player satisfaction or comfort.

Global chat is taken into consideration when judging whether or not a player is penalized. It still helps when players report bad behavior because it guarantees that player will be investigated.

BTW, @Spacecats --I see that the solution for the event's awarding of only a single catalyst while leveling has been to send 3 posts with 1 catalyst each (after getting only 1 at 55 and 60, I got all 3 for 65 (in 3 separate posts)). Are the instances where we only got the one catalyst going to be remedied, or are we just out of luck? (Seeing as how the event is ending and cats are going **poof** and all. . . )

We're still trying to determine how many players were affected by that bug. It will be up to Noesis to determine whether or not any catalysts are given out as a result, but as of right now it doesn't seem like it amounts to much considering there were a number of other ways to earn catalysts throughout the event.
Tier 7 gear should get you off to a good start doing Castle Aranea (solo) runs in order to gear up into Slaughter. Slaughter is fairly easy to enchant too, so it won't take long before you're able to group up and do base dungeons, then run the new Ace Dungeons on the side when you're not up for grouping. Since you're an experienced player you'll probably be able to shave some time just knowing how dungeons progress and what's expected in a group. Not to mention by finding a guild to get you going again will help a ton.

As for game changes, the Ninja is a new class you missed after Brawler came out last year. The Archer, Sorcerer, and Warrior have also gotten significant re-balances. There are several new dungeons (as well as some you're probably familiar with). Essential Mana has some excellent guides that will help you learn those quickly.

Do the end on 1 march not 2/28 pls

Tonight, Feb 27, is the last Mongo spawn event. No more catalysts will drop after tomorrow's maintenance.
They are tested prior to the event to make sure they can fight properly, but their stats can't be changed. A Lachelith spawned out in the open will deal damage and have the same HP as one in Ruinous Manor.

Some boss mechanics are based on their dungeon surroundings, so sometimes that causes weirdness that prevents us from using that boss. We check that kind of stuff in advance. As far as attacks that kill players, that's just part of what makes a boss a boss. Some are always going to be way easier/harder than others.
Hmmmm.....

k ;)
Thanks for posting about this, you guys. We WILL leave Kyra's Pop-Up Potion Shack up and running for an additional week. The event is still ending and no more catalysts will drop after tomorrow's maintenance, but players with existing catalysts will have a little extra time to redeem and spend them.

Your issue is a bit silly. Instead of just brushing off various derogatory claims... maybe... just maybe... you should try to report these people. The behavior you described is not something that En Masse or any game publisher / developer tolerates.

Exactly what I came here to say. The issue is more upsetting than silly, though. The best thing to do is report (through a customer support ticket) the players that are using derogatory language so that they can be dealt with officially. We don't tolerate player harassment in TERA.
Sorry to hear you're having trouble. Not being able to log in whatsoever is kind of a rare occurrence, and vague as far as details are concerned. I'm afraid the only course of action is to let a Customer Support rep investigate whatever it is that may be causing the problem. I hope you're able to get back in soon!

Mongos.

Where do they come from? What makes a Mongo a Mongo? Is a Mongo born, or is each Mongo forged through time and tested against secret underground trials of Mongodom? Is there a Mongo leader?

When Mongos disappear, where do they go? Is there a cave or alternate dimension where they live and die without the temptation to wander aimlessly in open world zones? Without catalysts to steal? Without the constant threat of adventurers "capturing" them with the edge of their blades?

So many questions. So much mystery surrounding these rare creatures. And today, starting at 3 p.m. PST...

... none of them will be answered. But we WILL kill a lot of Mongos for their loot. More than last week. <3

The show starts at the usual 3 p.m. PST right here: https://www.twitch.tv/enmasseentertainment

When will new Player Council positions be available?

Also, if you read forums everyday, why is there still a lack of responses and general communication with the community?

Well I've been active with posting in the forums every day (weekends aside) except for February 8th which was a big planning day for me in the office. Admittedly there are topics I don't comment on right away because I have no details to share, so I guess it depends on what you mean by general communication. Do you have a specific topic in mind or do you just wish I posted even more?

I'll likely open up Player Council for new applicants later this year. There are a few members that have had to take extended breaks because they started college or had a big lifestyle shift that keeps them from playing TERA all the time. I'll make a forum announcement with a link when the time comes.

Right, so with all of the feedback you have now, we'd appreciate an update on the Mongo event tonight, regarding the removal of the potionmaster box from the Legendary BAMs, their abysmal HP pool, and the time it will be taking place.

Well Odon is just Odon. Legendary Mongos don't share a common HP pool. Nightmare Odons in Legendary Mongo events are strong as he normally is in Demokron Factory Hard Mode. He won't appear again this event, but there will still be a chance that future Legendary Mongos aren't as beastly as, say, Shandra Manaya or Koleogg.
This sounds like a potential issue with your TERA client. Please create a customer support ticket so that one of our support crew can help troubleshoot the problem:

Nope. Spacecats and Noesis along with other members of the eme team read the forums. That's why it's important that if there is something you want to see or have changed that you write about it constructively.

WRONG WRONG WRONG (or lies imo) as Spacecats said himself in a reply to the thread with a letter writing to enmasse and signed by tons of people and guilds. Points dont matter if you are not a player council.

Why do you want to know? They addressed it within five minutes on the forums, and it was fixed within 15 minutes. It was a perfect response.

All I know is that after all the aggressive and reactionary posts on the forums from LesbianVi I expected your brawler to be well geared. Ground pounder as a top roll? Hmm...

A little transparency on service disruption goes a long way. A simple, the server crashed for unknown reasons would suffice for example.

There was a forum message displayed throughout the day giving the gist of it. It was an unexpected server failure that caused a reboot. Players were able to log back in almost right away.

I appreciate the feedback, guys. FYI the common Mongos were changed to no longer drop Healing or MP Motes because there were several complaints that those drops weren't very satisfying. A couple additional items were added to their drops to replace them.

Ummm, the legendarys die so fast that some people are able to solo them and thus not even everyone can get close to teachign the target point

Odon is a little bit of a pushover, true. I know a lot of the fun of Legendary hunting is tracking down the BAM, but ultimately people are going to be able to kill it without waiting if they don't feel like being generous. Hopefully you're able to land yourself a good hunting group that likes to work together to find the next one.
in 90 mins, future event times will be based on March's time zone, man they are pushing times to late hours, one day I could stay awake to do mongo hunt, and they pushed it further :( I go to bed. Not fair lol

The next couple Legends will appear earlier in the day. Tomorrow's bunch will be spawned during the Twitch stream. Kind of like last week, but with Mr. Darkan disappointing us by not appearing I want to ramp things up for this one. I hope you can make it!

Well it's not like this is something people experience all the time. The fact that it was only Naizilla means it was something funky with just one client (so not a bug). Especially if that client is modded...

This is why we ask players not to mod their files. In this case it's just weird and sort of funny, but a lot of the time things just break and prevent people from playing which isn't cool.

The response time on Support Tickets is around 6 days currently, and we're continuing to get that number back down to around the 24 hour time frame.

If players have been waiting longer than that ( as of today ), it might be worth checking to see if the Ticket was responded to already, or perhaps didn't get completely submitted.

Maybe you have some information on the levelling catalysts?

I know I personally reported it to other Teams, but unfortunately not the status of being changed. :(

We're constantly monitoring the performance of TERA servers. When there's an issue like today where players are disconnected or a server goes down, we're alerted immediately so that the problem can be corrected by our Operations team. In the case of brief lag spikes, it's a bit harder to monitor and often varies on the region of the player and their route to the TERA servers in Chicago.

If you don't mind me asking Rimbaldi, what kind of ping were you getting during the lag spikes and where are you located? What area of the game were you in? What's your ping usually like? Also, did other members of your party or guild also get ping spikes at that exact moment?
Servers are back online and players are logging in now. Thanks for your patience, everyone!

This is my guess as to why the HP doesn't update, even though Magnarox does take damage. It's because it's out of the environment where it's supposed to always exist with the sword mechanic in AINM/AIHM. That sword has a HP bar of it's own. The two HP bars of both entities overlap in the UI and whichever one you are closest to gets swapped to the foreground, while the other stays the in background, partially visible. Magnarox's HP bar can't ever exist as a single HP bar on it's own and because of that the UI bugs out.

I like that theory because it does speak to how bosses tend to work with dungeon environments in TERA to make complex encounters... but actually the Magnarox HP bar was something I did deliberately because Magnarox is otherwise kind of a wimp and wouldn't last very long if other people wanted to show up and help kill it. Next time I think I'll just him get his [filtered] kicked, though, just to make things less confusing.
Closing this thread. It has devolved into a lot of bickering between NA and EU, personal attacks between players, rumor spreading, and a lot of political comments (many of which have been moderated). Please be excellent to each other.

Remember that political discussion is against the forum rules. TERA has nothing to do with politics, so political discussions will always be off topic. Any mention of political activity, figures, and slogans will be moderated.

@Spacecats is there a way you guys can remove the click the check box on catalyst? it is a tedious process to do when you have a lot of catalyst in your inventory.

No sorry, there's really no way to remove it. Catalysts are actually a bit complicated in that they're tied directly to your En Masse account (which is why catalysts carry over from character to character). The back end requirements for an item like this means it needs to have a pop-up window, just like Elite status vouchers.

Since you are here already, can we know why the legendary mongos haven't spawned yet? or there will be no legendary mongos today?

It's changing every day. Today's ice cream is Meldita flavored and should show up at about 6 p.m. PST :)

I don't feel like it's that it's actually changing every day when they've spawned at the same time the past 4 days, I feel like it's more that it got wiped when maintenance and you all realised late...

Could there at least be some consistency tho in legendary spawn times? People plan their dungeons/time spent in this game around events like these, you can at the very least allow some sort of consistency for people that are being loyal and participating in your events.

The spawns will consistently be announced 30 minutes in advance, giving players players enough time to finish their dungeon run and prepare to hunt them. Tonight's Legendary was announced 7 minutes ago. The first Legend (Gorgoth) spawned at this time as well. Last night's spawned only 30 minutes after the event began.
Multiple threads were made about this. Please refer to the image Midoku posted from the Mongo guide:

@Spacecats I don't know if you guys have done it this event(seriously doesn't seem like it) but can you add a de-spawn feature to mongos, like after 5 minutes of not being found they spawn someplace else after their spawn timer is up(if they have one) to at least prevent mongos from being stuck in walls and underground? Cause I would imagine a lot if not most of the issue of "lack of spawns" comes from a good chunk of them are just unavailable to us just because of this bug that has been here and not fixed since the first event, and it's irritating to find an uncommon or rare sitting in a rock and only being able to kill it with a thrall or wraith in order to make it spawn someplace else hopefully.

Also throwing this out here remove motes in general and replace with a worthless pot, even ones from NPC just anything players can actually use, cause that's the main reason we hate motes that they are literally worthless and anything would be better than something we can't even use.

The 5 minute lifespan isn't doable, unfortunately. There just isn't that kind of customization available with the tools we're using to create this event. The problem of Mongos being stuck underground is something that still happens, but it's rare enough that it shouldn't matter within the span of a single Mongo-spawning session. The time we really noticed it happening was after multiple days of constant spawns.

I've been hunting Mongos every day and I've had mixed success. I tend to log in towards the end of the event, and IMO the frequency is what I anticipated it would be. Last night I got fewer catalysts than on Sunday night when I hit a jackpot of uncommon Mongos (I got lucky). Even then, there were moments when I was killing 2 or 3 common Mongos simultaneously.

I appreciate you trying to give us ideas but it'd be great if instead of assuming "we're just not doing it correctly" or "trying hard enough" that maybe it's actually that inconsistent and unfair to the people who are trying to enjoy this event and just getting motes. :/

Like it is super disheartening to hear you say "just try this" or "It's working as I intended it to."

If I'm not getting nearly ANY catalysts what is the point of this event? I'm actually very curious. I get that you said it's "not your ticket to +15" but that's literally patronizing as heck. Like. We aren't asking for that. Is it actually a bad thing to give your community what they want? Because other than that kid who very interestingly exclaimed it should be like neon mongos ( I think we all agree it should never be ) is it that bad to have an event where time + effort = reward? If we go for 6 hours straight I think it's pretty reasonable that we should get a lot of catalysts. But other than sunday (I farmed 200 in 6 hours) I've been trying to grind commons and just getting motes and potions so that's not exactly a viable way to get Kyra's.

But I guess if you made this as a "oh you can maybe get 1-2 Kyra's between dungeons" event than you shouldn't even advertise it or atleast make it clear that this isn't a grind/farm event.

I like you, like a lot. You're my favorite person on the team. So hearing you doubt the accuracy of our claims or trying to offer help as if we haven't tried plenty of things just really hurts tbh

Hey roxxapoxx sorry if what I said was in any way disheartening. I didn't mean to imply that you or anyone wasn't trying hard enough or that you're doing it wrong. I was just giving some tips based off how I know the TERA server spawns Mongos along with what I've had success doing personally. There's more to it than just my gut feeling when it comes to measuring the success and balance of an event like this.

For instance, we're also able to monitor the number of catalysts all players are getting on every server and how they're getting them. Just like we're able to measure feedstock, alkahest, crystals, EMP, costumes, BAM kills, and pretty much everything else. So when some players say they expect more catalysts while others say they're getting plenty of catalysts, we check the number of claimed catalysts out there. Nothing is set in stone so if it does look like things need adjusting, we're totally up for doing it. At the moment things actually look pretty well balanced. Obviously that's upsetting to people who feel like they aren't getting rewarded enough, but just like not every player will get to successfully enchant an item to +12 on the first try or get the niveot they want when combining crystals, there's a random factor to the game that means some players will inevitably get more loot than others just based off luck. I hope that makes sense.

Is it me or did they nerf the heck out of regular common/uncommon/rare mongo spawns? My frequency of finding these have been abysmal today, compared to the last 3 days :/

Nope thats your normal spawns, if you're lucky to find one, it'll most likely drop a mote anyways. IMO they should make the spawn rate similar to the Neon Mongo event with 1 guaranteed catalyst as a drop and make the loot parcel mailed to everyone in a raid.

What you're proposing would result in an insane influx of catalysts, enchanting mats, accessories, etc...

Imagine 30 people hunting one area for 7 hours and getting a catalyst any time a single person killed a Mongo. Not only would it encourage people to afk and not actually participate in the event, it would encourage people to run multiple accounts like gold farmers.

I know it seems like you must have a 100% mote drop rate when it comes to Mongos (from your comments I honestly can't tell if you're participating in this Mongo event anymore, LancerJiva), but the event is designed to compliment Kyra's Pop-Up Potion Shack, not serve as an end-all source for getting +15 ambush. Some minor adjustments might be made before Feb 28, but nothing as extreme as what you're describing.
Grievuuz wrote: »

No, the spawns haven't been reduced. Have you been staying in the same area and channel, or mixing it up between channels? It's possible for more Mongos to spawn in the same channel after being hunted in another one. So for instance if Basilisk Crag channels 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 get heavily hunted, channel 6 may end up getting a lot of respawns which stay safely un-hunted until people swap to that channel. The distribution doesn't stay 100% equal.

Honestly, they could've just started it at 12PM (midday). Then EU and NA would both be able to participate in the event.

Because this Mongo event is set up to support Kyra's Potion Shack, we wanted to run Mongos for a limited window. 3 p.m. PST is 11 p.m. GMT, so players in EU with more or less typical daily scheduled should still be able to catch the beginning of it. There are quite a few regions to consider for TERA, but of course we are the North American publisher, so we will always lean towards times that favor NA players.

In the case of additional time windows, we tried that last Mongo (Neon) and still got a variety of complaints. So in other words the time slot thing is a bit of a balancing act and we want to see how this one goes before making more decisions. We want to go with a method that benefits as many players as possible without running the event 24/7 (which would be OP).

Regarding community communication... sometimes the answer is "no" or "not yet" and I realize that sucks for people hoping for specific game changes. I get the criticism, but at the same time realize the communication people are actually looking for is "your wish is 100% granted" and as of right now that's not the case.

The process of claiming catalysts is annoying. There are a few reasons why it works this way:

1. Potion shack is a bit of a hack. We had to re-purpose an Elite Status voucher so there would be an item in game that you could use to gain currency. It isn't ideal, but we wanted to find a way to reward people in game.
2. All the extra pop-up windows are shown because we are using a hacked Elite Status voucher for the catalysts.
3. It turns out Elite Status vouchers and catalysts don't work correctly when they are rewarded in stacks (we found this out the hard way during a past event). We decided to make them non-stackable to avoid breaking the system and to encourage people to use them instead of hoarding them.

Now I'm a little embarrassed because MACHINE LORD GELETRON and the Platform team also deserve a shoutout. The way Kyra's Pop-Up Potion Shack works in the game is all thanks to their hard work implementing it. In fact I'm pretty sure the new red enchanting crystal was their idea, and wouldn't have been possible without their work configuring the potion shop. Thank you GELETRON!
Congratulations you guys! :dizzy:

There were a few adjustments that had to be made to get things just right. I decided it was better to wait and test things to make sure players have a good time rather than risk disappointing you guys.

Full disclosure, this is ENTIRELY NOESIS'S FAULT.

...just kidding, he's off the hook this time :pleased:

First off. I think it is more logical and organized to have them stackable in your inventory to alleviate the need to constantly empty the inventory for the catalyst. Secondly, The repetitive windows that pop up are insanely illogical accept for the first window. Yet the option should be given on whether to ask again or not. Thus alleviating the need to keep having the window pop up once more over and over again. The next window that pops up is not even needed at all. Why have this window pop up that isn't even an elite status voucher?

I'll direct all the thanks (and other feedback) in this thread to TERA Product Manager Noesis. I was able to help him plan this Kyra's, but he's the one that put in the stressful and late-night work hours required to get the Pop-Up Potion Shack ready for potion brewing business in time for Valentine's Day. <3
We're checking on the people who won Niveots and x150 T10 Feedstock and our plan is to deliver their reward later. All items should be delivering properly from this point on.

Thanks for what? he didn't do anything. lol.

This morning it still started at 8 a.m. while we were in maintenance, but it will still last until 1 p.m.

BTW power hour ended at normal time 8 minutes ago. Just finished a fwc and got normal credits. It no longer says its active on active events either. @Spacecats

I'll investigate why this may have happened. This was something I personally set up to extend until 1 p.m. and looking at our server settings there is no reason why it would have turned itself off. I apologize for the missing power hour and I'll make doubly sure it doesn't happen for following Tuesdays even if it means removing and rescheduling those future times. Thanks for following up on this LancerJiva.
Saleron's should now give loot properly. Because there are 3 potential bosses at the end, it looked like only one of them (Valtryssir) was giving out catalyst boxes. Now all of them will :)

I just used 5 catalysts on a red crystal from Kyra. Said my reward was a "Swiftly Grieving Niveot" however I received no reward. I have checked item claim, parcel post, and restarted Tera and Launcher with no sign of any reward.

This is an odd case I don't want to risk overlooking. Has anybody else won a Niveot from Kyra's that failed to deliver?
Everything is set now. All new parcels will properly deliver catalysts. The existing ones, unfortunately, are a lost cause and will remain unclaimable. Sorry for the inconvenience there.
We've made progress! Within the next 45 minutes, level up rewards will be reinstated and anybody who reaches a level-up milestone will get a proper delivery. Unfortunately if you leveled up between this morning and the time this is corrected, you've missed out on a few catalysts. The plus side is that the event is just getting started so there are still plenty of ways to brew potions between now and Feb 28.
We're recreating the level up rewards so they hopefully deliver correctly. If you're reading this and you're on the verge of leveling up and getting a catalyst reward, go have a dance party somewhere for like an hour while Noesis and I troubleshoot.
I'm investigating the leveling award boxes right now, but the standard login catalysts should now be being delivered. Let me know if you aren't seeing them when you log in. If you're already in game, you may need to exit all the way out and restart the launcher to get the catalyst grant to appear for you in itemclaim.

Look for an announcement Thursday giving details. It won't be random!

My pc is broken and i can't watch the stream on my cell phone. :/

Kyra's potion shack is coming back in a modified form 2-14-->and catalysts will drop in a Mongo event! They've apparently been working on this for months.

Well I wouldn't say it took months to make happen, but we've definitely been anticipating doing it in time for Valentine's Day. <3 <3 <3
The Power Hours have been bumped for every Tuesday to account for maintenance. It will now run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. PST (two hours later).

As for the Gridiron request, I've seen a few people mention it. I think we'd like to keep February's schedule like it is in order to avoid confusion, but I'll put it back into rotation in March since there's obviously some interest. Thanks guys :pleased:

Kyra's Pop-Up Potion Shack has returned with a new twist - an enchanting option for those more interested in gear than costumes. We've been looking for more ways to tailor events like this for different play styles and level ranges, and this a small example. Let us know what you think!

For those wondering about this line in particular...
we’ll be hosting additional community events with catalysts as rewards!

... look for another announcement later this week. ;)
For those who stuck around after the stream (and those in this thread), here's a special announcement you might want to hear:

As always, this Friday's stream will begin at 3:00 p.m. PST at https://www.twitch.tv/enmasseentertainment

Thanks to the recent efforts of various YouTubers, new guilds were created on AV and CH to take on the (some might say impossible) challenge of entering Harrowhold and bringing down TERA's biggest and baddest BAM, Vergos. Results varied (RIP). Okay no they didn't... everybody died horribly.

FOR TODAY'S STREAM I'll be visiting both Ascension Valley and Celestial Hills to give these guilds YET ANOTHER TASTE OF DEATH in the form of a BAM attack!
  • Jesse Cox - Circle of Jerks (AV)
  • Sky Williams - Auditory Daydreamers (AV)
  • Jaynee - The Squid Kids (CH)
  • Brofresco - Bring It In (CH)
  • SunnySplosion - Sunnysquad (CH)

Not in one of these guilds? Show up and die anyway! Everyone is welcome :)

We'll meet outside the Free Trader's Hall. First on Ascension Valley at 3 p.m. sharp, and then Celestial Hills starting at 3:30 p.m. PST. You should be level 65 if you want to stand a chance, but nobody will stop you if you're level 1 with a death wish. CCB check!

For those not on AV and CH, join me in Twitch chat and we'll raffle off some cosmetics to those tuning in <3
On a less down-to-earth note...

Remember that time Paesyn needed room in his inventory for flowers so he started dropping giant lumps of gold and silver on the ground? We think that's sorta what happened to Noesis' first draft.
On a more down-to-earth note...

We haven't forgotten, and this is on Noesis' sizable plate right now. Sorry for the wait!

As requested, moving the Thread into the Game Suggestion section. ;)
Thread closed by request. Please remember to be respectful towards your fellow TERA players if you want to participate in the forums.

A side note here. Almost no gear you get while leveling is worth selling really. Better off just turning it into feedstock.
(By the middle button at the bottom of your bag).

Are you saying that even though I put it up to be sold, nobody will really have any interest in purchasing? I mean, that makes sense as all players have access to all the same gear whilst leveling. Didn't really think about that until now lol

Yeah, gear is really best broken down for enchanting materials that help you level faster. If you're looking to make a little money during your level up process, I'd suggest selling some of the rare finds from gathering nodes (ore, plants, essence...) such as scarabs.
They'll go on sale Thursday. We wanted to get them up on the dressing room early since 1) We're really excited for them and 2) I wasn't able to show them off as well as I wanted during Friday's preview stream.
Just as a heads up, we are looking into this now, but those should have been included in the removal process as well.

I believe these specific ones become unclaimable after being purchased from Trade Broker, so to the players who decided to purchase one directly following maintenance, I'd suggest submitting a Support Ticket (providing character name / server) and request that the Catalyst be removed, otherwise it may lead to an issue (such as a Server Transfer) later down the road.
Yeah... bad scheduling on our part. I'm surprised nobody mentioned it last month. I'll see about adjusting these times.
Catatonic wrote: »
If you have already contact support I suggest you continue to work with them to resolve the issue. If you have repaired your client (and you dont have any mods installed), then you should relay this information to them so they can continue to help you.

This goes for pretty much any ticket, by the way. If you've already got one open and you're talking to a support rep, just reply using that ticket until your problem is solved. Making multiple tickets for the same thing... complicates matters.

Anyway, I'm glad it sounds like your problem got sorted out, Chabouu!

SO many people showed up and it was hard to see on stream so I put this together if anyone wanted to see the effects on the priest weapon.

Also I play on an actual toaster but I'm hoping the quality isn't super bad :c

Thank you! The weapon skins should be in the dressing room early next week so folks can get a better look than I was able to give today ;)
WHOA. Ok, thanks for the heads up on this. That is absolutely our error. When we put the items together for the box, we inadvertently grabbed an odd version of the Slaughter weapon. We're working on a fix for the box's contents that will be updated in the next maintenance, and I'm putting together a short-term solution for Warriors over the weekend that will be hitting 65, so they won't miss out on getting the rewards. Warriors hitting level 64 will get their Slaughter weapon at 64, with a note to either wait until after Maintenance to open their reward, or to sell/discard the weapon that is inside the box.

Additionally, for every warrior that hit 65 since Tuesday, we're going to be sending them a proper Filet & Steak Weapon, along with an additional +9 Enchantment Scroll.

Thanks!

Somehow? Impression? Confused?

You clearly wrote 100% Chance on the MYSTERIOUS EGG. There was no confusion on our side, it was clearly your misscomunication (as usual lol).

It was worded incorrectly. I've rephrased my comment above to be a bit more clear.

Ketoth wrote: »
Are you giving away the white models of the weapons too? or just the volcanic?

And

Could you also explain the miss communication about hardening egg and mysterious egg and 100% drop chance for dragon according the patch notes, so people dont talk about it anymore?

Sure, I'll mention this on the air. For clarification here, the dragon eggs were included in the patch notes by mistake, and described just as they have been functioning. Some players saw this message and somehow got the impression that there was now a 100% chance to get a dragon from an egg. That rumor was false, but some players got confused/upset because they believed it and opened some eggs.

Today on Twitch I'll visit Mount Tyrannas to show off the upcoming Dragon Weapon Skins! These items won't be hitting the TERA store until next week, but I'll have some 3-day versions to hand out to folks who group up and help me model.

While I'm on MT, let's PvP! I'll raffle off prizes in the Twitch chat depending on how our duels turn out <3

The stream starts at 3 p.m. PST on the En Masse Twitch channel. See you there!
https://www.twitch.tv/enmasseentertainment
I don't believe it's known. Moving to the bug forums. Thanks for letting us know!
I'd like it we could add them in soon in a way where all players can earn them. They're definitely on our radar!

You said EME is still pushing to get fwc un eq.

It's been 4months... you must have had some feedback good or bad from BHS regarding it.

Would be great if you would share with the community.

I agree. I'll talk to Noesis and see what we can share about the progress made on it.
If a player is harassing you or being extremely toxic, using foul language, or breaking the Terms of Service, the best thing to do is submit a Customer Support ticket and provide as much detail as possible. The player will be investigated and our CS crew will determine what actions are necessary to prevent that action from happening again.

Calling out players is against the forum rules, though, so don't post about it here. It only leads to witch hunts and drama that get us nowhere.

Power hours.....Let me see if I can be constructive here.

This is a bandaid Noesis. Even with power hours people won't run Fraywind or CS as often as Kumas/ Iron battlegrounds. We need a system similar to the crusades if you honestly want PvP to return. There needs to be a reason to compete.

Bluehole has taken away the need to gear up in battlegrounds since everything is now equalised ( except team 3s but hey not like it pops often). Let's avoid Civil Unrest as well , that discussion is elsewhere.

Anyway back to the subject at hand. Power hours aren't worth doing if the PvP gear you can obtain from it is basically redundant. So there's only two suggestions I can offer.

Attempt to return fraywind to being un equalised (have an eq version for up to 64 , remove Kumas / Iron BG). Second and more importantly we need a leader board. With some form of reward for rank 1 - 3.

For example : Rank 1 - 2 Diamonds

Rank 2 - 5 Emeralds

Rank 3 - 3 Emeralds.

Don't. Jump on me. Add in your thoughts but I must request you be constructive.

Peace out guys.

Thanks for your ideas! We're still pushing to get FWC unequalized. We haven't forgotten about it. As far as Kumas and Iron BGs I know many PvP-focused players don't consider these to be actual PvP Battlegrounds. In your opinion do you think those who queue for Kumas to get credits and level their characters would otherwise be queued up for FWC?
Kimimishan wrote: »
(and as Spacecats just mentioned, they're actually counter productive since no one runs without it)

I think you kind of misunderstood my post. Power Hours help make it so players can coordinate around a set time to queue for BGs when they might otherwise be doing dungeons or who knows what. Nobody said they were counter productive.

That said, I do appreciate your credit store suggestions so thanks very much for the feedback!
Sorry, everyone knows those things are worthless.

...Bruiseweave Stoles and Unity Stoles are a dime a dozen! You could get so much more with 1k fed bills my conscience tells me I MUST DECLINE YOUR OFFER.
TL;DR -> Hardening Eggs were never changed, and never meant to be a guaranteed dragon mount drop. Everyone in TERA gets an extra 10 Dragon Scales for the login reward for today.

Final followup post!

To provide a final capstone of clarity: There was no change to the hardening dragon egg item, its drop rate, or the way that system works to provide dragon mounts to players. The error was entirely a versioning issue between patch notes coming to EME from KR, and the resulting "new" notes causing confusion for people thinking it meant the system was changing.

In light of people's rightful concern about their expectations not being met with the drop table yesterday, I am adding 10 Dragon Scales to the daily reward for today.

Thanks again to everyone that has helped out on this issue, and I'll see you in game. (For those who were watching the stream, I'm up to iLvl 394, on my way to the magical 410 number.)
