I can give you the IT answer for why you never push new builds on Thursday: because you may have to deal with bugs on the weekend. That's why most teams choose Tuesday or, if not, Wednesday. The maintenance they sometimes have on Thursday is often bug fixes for things pushed on Tuesday.

Then why not Tuesday? Or even next week?

The Wednesday release date was influenced by a late hotfix we received from the developers to resolve a crash bug that affected other regions upon release. This resulted in our QA team losing a day of testing (in order to get the build up in our test environment). With this particular build's turnaround time already incredibly short relative to the size and scope of the update, and the team also coming off a long weekend here in North America, we felt another day of testing and patch note preparation was necessary.
It will indeed be released on November 30. It's not clear yet if we'll have a maintenance on Tuesday or not. I'll let you know once finalized.

As for the contents of the elite box, the stack of 30 was added in addition to the stacks of 500.

We will not be adjusting them ourselves to work with the new dungeons. This change may come in a future build but as of this writing, I don't have a timeline from the devs.
I doubt we'll get a preview up (I'm still working furiously on the discount schedule and configuring the sale), but we will announce the sale in full next Wednesday afternoon (that's the plan anyways).

The green dress is for elins only. The red dress is for the other races. They should all be in the dressing room, but allow me to take a look.

Our Operations team is investigating the issues reported in this thread with our various partners and service providers. We have not yet identified a root cause but we have definitely observed irregularities over the past couple days that align with the issues players are reporting in this thread.

What would be helpful is specific report of errors you received (on the launcher), as some players have submitted, or the symptoms you're experiencing (such as "disconnected during this dungeon at this time" or "I can't log in").

We appreciate your patience while we investigate these issues and apologize for the inconvenience they've caused; I know it's been extremely frustrating.

They are now, yes.
The dungeon specific reset scrolls will be distributed via other means that we are still working on.

UPDATE (11/04 @ 4:48 p.m. PDT): Jackpot system was busted. We're dropping them off end bosses now. The rules are much the same, but we ditched the 50/50 chance (we only did this as the jackpot system required it):

1) Completion of the following dungeons will grant a reset scroll for Lilith's Keep (Normal):

- Shadow Sanguinary (Normal)
- Demokron Factory (Hard)
- Lilith's Keep (Normal)
- Vault of Kaprima (Normal)

2) Completion of the following dungeons will grant a reset scroll for BOTH Lilith's Keep (Hard) and Ruinous Manor (Normal):

- Lilith's Keep (Hard)
- Sky Cruiser Endeavor (Hard)
- Ruinous Manor (Normal)
- Shadow Sanguinary (Hard)

3) Completion of the following dungeons will grant a reset scroll for Ruinous Manor (Hard):

- Ruinous Manor (Hard)

Scrolls are being distributed as a drop off the end boss in the above dungeons and, upon pick-up, will distribute to all members in the party. All scrolls are bankable but not tradable.

This is a temporary resolution, we're working on a fix for the instance reset scrolls that will at the very least add back those dungeons that were removed from functionality upon release of Spellbound. Beyond this weekend, we'll continue to come up with some creative ways to get scrolls for the new dungeons in your hands.
@Spacecats We are standing at the last boss in RMHM for 10 minutes already wondering should we clear ( the reset scrolls are not working ) or we can get our scrolls manually or something ? Took screenshots as well ~

You should clear it. We are not having any luck with getting the scrolls to distribute via this method. We're exploring other options.

We are currently discussing with the developers the situation around instance reset scrolls. While it was by design that the new dungeons could not be reset using existing scrolls upon release of Spellbound (in the sense that these are the build's default settings and it is with these settings the build was shipped globally), we understand this is not the norm in our version, so we're exploring what can be done to improve the situation in response to player feedback. This might include distributing dungeon-specific reset scrolls in the context of an event or giveaway or it might mean allowing the existing scrolls to reset the new dungeons in the build. Any solution would include dungeons that could previously be reset pre-patch (SS, SSHM, DF, and DFHM) as well as LK and RM.

I'll report back with any new information, timing, etc. once I have it. We are approaching this with urgency and will take some form of action in a short timeframe.

Why cant i reset old instances? The reset scrolls do not work period. For any dungeon.

I can confirm these are hitting the store tomorrow morning. They were added to the Undergarment Box in-game in preparation for their release.

Does this mean they will be adding a name and a description of what stat they give tomorrow? Because I got a pair and it displays no name and no stats other than the defense and balance (I know they are +20 crit though because it shows I gain 20 crit by equiping).

We're currently looking into the description issue. Have you tried to restart your launcher since you noticed this?

A plasma (and master plasma) shuriken for the ninja will be added to the existing plasma weapon skin smart boxes upon launch of the update on May 17.
We looked into this after seeing this post and identified that the Level 65 reward for Berserker was not configured correctly. This is now fixed, but if you were affected you'll have to contact our customer support team to receive the rewards.

Completing the 22nd floor in Dreadspire will now drop ten Level 65 Shadow Letter Boxes per party member. I updated the event news post as well.

Ah, I understand now.

Yes, you didn't receive the credits because you jumped straight to level 10. You will receive credits according to the other qualifications once they're delivered, however.

Hopefully someone can help me here, maybe im just missing the obvious or something, but i've asked a few friends and no one seems to be having this issue. Instead of having the 'Tera Rewards' mine says, 'Benefactor Club' , and instead of having a Tier , I have a Club Status. It looks like your localization did not update correctly. You may need to close the game and re-login to the launcher for the localization to be applied correctly.

When your points are awarded, you will gain the benefits from each tier. You were simply previewing the unlocks at each level, they have not yet been applied.

You'll be able to tell when they're applied because the bar at the top will fill up.

One of my accounts received only 1500 points and it's T0, in the other one (founder) it's T2 already. Seems like the current elite and founder were identified and added first.

Let's hope that the rest will be added instead of overwrite what is already there...

What about island of dawn vanguards quests, they don't award any credits, others quests do, is that what you wanted or is it a miss ?


Only 7 Vanguard Requests grant Reward Points currently but this may be expanded on in the future.

Reward points will be applied directly to your progression scale (the bar at the top of the TERA Rewards interface).

Reward Credits will be delivered to Item Claim in multiple groups (for each level 65 character, for your prior EMP purchasing history, for each month of elite, and for your founder account status).

The Reward Points progress your tier. We expected delivery of the Reward Points be done before maintenance was complete but it is taking longer than we expected. They should be complete by the end of the day today.

The Reward Credits will take much longer to deliver and should arrive before the previously-announced April 15 date.

Regarding your delivery, I just checked and it appears to still be in progress.

Yes, this is correct. We are delivering rewards to all players that qualify based on the criteria detailed in the game guide/FAQ. This amounts to a lot of players (millions) and as such, the reward delivery will take some time.

Following some issues during maintenance today, we were able to confirm functionality of the TERA Rewards system and will be opening up the game to players.

We found that TERA Rewards Points will take longer than we anticipated to deliver to qualified players. We expect this to be complete today, after which we will begin delivering TERA Rewards Currency to qualified players.

We appreciate your patience while we deliver TERA Rewards to players based on their retroactive gameplay and purchasing history. We anticipate that all TERA Rewards Credits will be delivered by 5 p.m. PDT on April 15, 2016. Please consult the TERA Rewards game guide and the TERA Rewards FAQ for more information regarding the system.
I have confirmed with the developers that the enchantment success rate increase granted from reaching tiers 3, 6, and 9 does apply to awakening enchantment.

To clarify, reaching level 9 grants a 3% increase to a player's success rate. This means that you are three 3% more likely to succeed (or 3% less likely to fail). The enchantment success rate bonus that you receive at tier 9 is 3% total. The enchantment success rate bonus that you receive at tier 6 is 2% total. The enchantment success rate bonus that you receive at tier 3 is 1% total. These are not cumulative, unlike the EXP bonuses granted by the system.

Also, any link to a description of the dungeon? How many people and what item levels?

Edited for additional question: Is the daily bonus what you can earn in the daily reward dungeon, or do you get 1-60 credits passively + whatever you earn in the dungeon?


You receive some credits daily by logging in and claiming them. The credits earned from the dungeon are in addition to that.

Probably when they switched over to the emp system? That was February 2013. I'd be surprised if it took into account purchases made before then when it was pay to play. Not sure if that answers your question though.


This is correct. Elite subscriptions and EMP purchases date back to February 2013.

It's been re-worked for inclusion in TERA Rewards. It's a solo dungeon and functions a bit differently now.

The elite status does not but the EMP spent towards winning it will.

Where is our dungeon drop improvement? lasted I checked the hardest dungeon in game, DS uppers, is the least profitable dungeon. You can make more money doing IoD dailies....


We made some improvements to dungeon drops in the lead-up to Dawnfall and we have added drops to end-game dungeons as part of events we've run. I am exploring some potential solutions around Dreadspire.

Also the rewards are messed up. My guild got 2nd place in Challenger League and we only got 24 semis and 190k noc. Zero MWA. Why did you guys remove the MWA from the rewards? Why did you lower the amount of Noc?


I just verified that the rewards for 2nd place in Challenger League are indeed incorrect. All other rewards appear to be right. We should be able to get the correct rewards sent out to the affected guilds pretty quickly. I'll report back with an update shortly.

This is some kind of message for pvp players? Like "We dont want you?"


We're currently investigating the issues with 3's identified by players.

I'm putting together a plan to update the PvP merchants. This will hopefully hit in the next 1-2 weeks.

Crusades will reset tomorrow, at which time hopefully they will track properly. Unfortunately, we were unable to identify the source of the current issue. We're also working with Bluehole on a fix to re-assign the permanent mounts that some guilds lost as part of the issues with the previous season.

Looks good for me on Highwatch. You might try and exit to character select and re-enter the server.
I was able to get them in the dressing room this morning with BH's help. They should be there now.

They are live right now. Higher chance to drop from both normal and hard mode Level 65 dungeons.
I posted in the other thread as well, but I buffed the rates on these a bit just now. They should drop more readily from max-level dungeons (both normal and hard mode).

I buffed the Terebin drop rates for max-level dungeons today (for both normal and hard). It's true they were made more rare from Ghillieglade. They were being farmed at an unintended rate upon initial release of the event. The primary means of obtaining them should be from max-level dungeons.

Given the positive response to these we are exploring their inclusion in elite status as a permanent addition. At this time, it's uncertain how these will be delivered (eg. on the elite bar or not), but you can expect that they'll be included as part of the elite package again in the future.
Based on the feedback I've received here and elsewhere, I have increased the quantity of Bezoar drops from Dreadspire floor 22:

1) The Montori's Haul 22nd Challenge Box is now guaranteed to drop five stacks of three Bezoars that must be rolled on individually.

With all the flaws we have in our version of the game...
And you give us an event to keep us happy...
But it is soooo badly designed and implemented...
That you had to change it 3 times so far... and it is still bad...I won't list the problems here, because it would take too much of my time/I would state the obvious/noone bothers to care about it ;)
And I bet you spent a lot of time to think it through... the names, the drops, the rewards...

But at least you can learn from it :)

I didn't even bother to participate in this event after I read the announcement (which was so badly designed I just checked and you had to clean it up too? lol).

It was so obvious that it will be badly implemented (imbalanced drops, or no drops at all, lack of recettes, lack of imformation about the whereabouts of stuff), immense amount of RNG, which of course will be badly implemented and after all of that noone gets **** from these boxes.
I don't understand why would anyone open these boxes/use their catalysts until the very last moment, you guys always change it during the event....

Have you not had enough experiment with the designing of events???
In the past few years only Kyra's shack is the recurring event, everything else is different every single time! And the quality fluctuates sooo much. The amount of RNG we face now... hahaha so horrible. Not even the TERA letter even was this bad.

No conclusion, just bitterness.

(Lets not mix Festival of the Sun, Halloween event, Wintera and Rootstock here, they have designated areas and quests, not just a drop/kill based event)


Not to get all defensive, but isn't our adjusting the event according to live data and player feedback preferable to the alternative (doing nothing)? Sure, it'd be great to get everything right the first time, and you're right we are learning as we go, but that can sometimes be difficult when designing an event that touches so many different areas of the game. The event is 1/3 of the way complete, with plenty left to go. I'd rather make changes now to improve it then let it linger for another two-plus weeks.
