We think we figured out the login issue.
We're trying to figure out the easiest way to fix this. We're noticing that this error is happening around that %'s when folks have modded their client with some Elin files.

Yes you folks are correct we fixed the text wrap issue yesterday, how embarrassing :P.

I'll see what we can do about the bright white box :).
Should be fixed now. Please give it a go.

I like the new forums, but the font size on the forum listing is way too large in my opinion. If they size it down a bit it'll look great.

This could actually be my fault :(.

We're doing a lot of "fixing" of things behind the scenes and that might be the rapid cause of the error.

is this the reason I'm getting Error: 500 - Internal Server Error every time I try to access my forum account control panel thing? xD

Ok the 500 error's should be fixed now. Please try and go to your profile just to make sure it's working. Even though the 500 error is fixed, you will most likely still have the wrong class and/or race. This will be fixed next week during our maintenance.

Hey folks,

We fixed the bug where your character information is incorrect, and has been deployed to production. This only fixes characters information going forward. Along with this we fixed the Elin bug.

For the people that have incorrect character info, we need to fix you guys during our next maintenance. So like Knoxxer said, enjoy it while it lasts.

You guys should be good to go now.

Sorry for tardiness.
Let me give a little explanation on this.

For the folks that were canceled today, you guys were all on the promotional elite when we transferred over from F2P. When we originally transfered into F2P, we gave you guys that had game time prior to F2P, 30 days of elite.

That 30 days of elite time is up and that's why you were canceled for your elite.

For the folks that had 5-7 days of elite after the 30 days, well, you guys shouldn't have had that ;). So that was actually a bug that we fixed. The items that were delivered to you, that shouldn't have been delivered either.

If you want Elite after the fact, you can go to store.enmasse.com and purchase the Elite subscription.

I hope this explains it.

I actually saw your account. I'm looking at your account now. Unfortunately, you were a SUPER edge case, and it was all timing of your purchase and our script running :(.

That's actually not how it works.

This is a problem specifically with people that were migrated over in the f2p transition.

I'm looking into the issue.

Nope still don't have my elite back I have the number issued with the email I got on the 6th of march if you need it. I never cancelled I never even touched my account page since I ordered, and Paypal already gave you the cash.

In the launcher, if you go to tools, there is a p2p button. Could you try turning that OFF and restarting your launcher and tell me the results?
If your fear is that your launcher is seeding when you're in the game and it's sucking up your precious internets, no need to worry, it's not.

I'm not sure how the discussion quite turned into "does the launcher need to stay open during game play"

The original question was, the P2P is staying on. This is what I was referring to. And my answer was NO. You are not seeding when you're playing the game.

I do understand the OP's concerns. I'm looking to turn that off in a future patch.

Yes it would be a problem if you're using a client from Europe.
No it would not be a problem if you're using the NA client from Europe.

I've been doing some research with the client and clearing the cache fixed a lot of people, also what we did yesterday to fix a majority of the people having problems. Not saying everyone is fixed though..

IG2 and Visions, can you 2 PM me separately please? I need to see your symptoms.
Yes, it was posted in a previous post that it did not make it in this build, but it's in the works.

We would LOVE to get every one of our features out perfectly and quickly, but realistically, that's just not possible. Doesn't mean we don't continue to work as fast as possible.

So, yes, it's not out yet. Yes, we're working on it.

We've been hearing that the p2p function is causing some problems with some launchers.

Just in case, would you mind closing the launcher, deleting the live folder again, and turning off p2p in the tools link on the bottom of the launcher and tell me if you get this error?

Were you able to figure out the common link between us who did not receive EMP? I would assume there are others who do not use the forums.


Ya we figured out the common link, there might be some edge cases though which we might have missed. The data set is quite large, and complicated, so we're still filtering through them.

EMP should have been delivered to everyone that should have gotten it. Of course some accounts could have been missed.

Luckily, researching some of you guys could mean that we missed a bucket or two. We're looking into it now.

Scarlette for instance, looks like you should have gotten it and we're looking into seeing why you didn't. I'll respond back once we get more info.

Just to be clear, you should gotten EMP for purchasing a standard or collectors BEFORE we went F2P and additional EMP ONLY if you were still on the inaugural pricing. If you canceled and resubbed before F2P, you are NOT on inaugural pricing.

Wally - then your faq on the subject isn't quite clear. It states that everyone who bought a standard/collectors before the game went F2P gets 1100 creds regardless, and that the ADDITIONAL EMP is only offered to those who started and stuck with inaugural pricing..



The amount of EMP given out depends on your account status.

Standard Game Account - 550 EMP
Collector's Edition - 1100 EMP
Any game account with a multi-month (3,6,12) active inaugural subscription - 1650 EMP + the Collector's or Standard Game account bonus


For example: If you purchased a Collector's Edition and you have an active multi-month inaugural subscription you will receive 1100 + 1650 = 2750 EMP. Standard accounts will receive 550 + 1650 = 2200.

How is that not clear?

I just wanna say you guys are awesome. I got this same exact error the first time I tried logging into EU Tera to make my characters for the first time. I sent in a ticket and got the response "don't use tunneling or vpn" (I don't use that crap nor do I know how to use it) and they closed my ticket without waiting for a response or trying to help me figure out what was going on. As a new player, that was very confusing and I just gave up on it.

So yeah, you guys take care of things in a much more thoughtful and quick fashion. I can understand why people are moving over to NA Tera. Keep on doing what you're doing, it's appreciated. :P

This sucks, after i've been called to being blocked because of a fraudulent behavior, the answers in the ticket support became slower


Don't lose hope. I think we'll need to figure out why it's doing that. Unfortunately, it might not be until tomorrow. I don't have all the tools and knowledge to figure out why at the moment :\

still isnt working for me, when i try to purchase i even selected usa and stuff, i am trying to use paypal and when i confirm the payment on the paypal new window, the enmasse buy emp page just reloads and i dont get billed or anything, it goes back as if i never hit purchase

Yup your files are correct. Those are the timestamps and revision needed for this patch. Have you tried running the repair yet?

Let me dig a bit deeper to see what the problem might be.

All I want is just log on and get into Nexus..



We're definitely considering this. Unfortunately we need to make sure we do this correctly, so we don't need to "clean up" later and make things worse :).

Totally understood, but the HC launcher goes away after you download TERA fully and launched the game once at least. The shortcut will get replaced with the TERA launcher as soon as the download is done.

The HC launcher is so you don't necessarily need to download the FULL game client before start playing.

But we'll consider separating it out.

Clean up? You mean you're trying to test this out and make sure it doesn't cause problems before your implement it right? Like with patches.....


He was referring to removing the swimsuits that are causing the problem, which would then mean that they need to replace them all which takes man hours and a lot of work because some of them are premium items, and it isnt something people would appreciate if they did the same fix they did for the Ruby Rims.
